Its England Versus West Indies in the finals of the ICC World T20 2016. Both the teams have been impressive during this year's edition, and specially West Indies, who beat India (The Host) in the Semi Final-2 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. India played very well, batting first posted a total of 192-3 with Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni being the stars for team India and Rohit Sharma and Ajinkaya Rahane getting a good start.

But it was Lendl Simmons who was the star of the day, playing his very first match of the world cup and scoring a match winning knock for his team after the big hitting Chris Gayle departed for just 5 runs by Bumrah's yorker. And we thought that India's won the game, but West Indies have 11 batsmen in the team, so even a total of 210 was not safe.

The due factor came into play, eliminating Spin factor and also eliminating India's Chances of reaching the Finals. If those No balls would not have been bowled, then maybe it would have been a different story but it's done now. Lets move on to the Final game now

Teams:

England: Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan (captain), Jos Buttler (wk), Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Chris Jordan, David Willey, Adil Rashid, Liam Plunkett.

West Indies: Chris Gayle, Johnson Charles, Marlon Samuels, Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin (wk), Andre Russell, Darren Sammy (captain), Carlos Brathwaite, Samuel Badree, Sulieman Benn.

This match will be played at the beautiful Eden Gardens Stadium, Kolkata. Eden Gardens will now cheer for England, that Eoin Morgan will start favourites but when it comes to West Indies, no matter where they are playing, they are the second favourite team in every cricket playing nation.

If West Indies have players like Chris Gayle, Russell, Sammy, then this tournament's enforcers have been England's Jason Roy, Joss Buttler, Joe Root.

Gayle's average at Eden Gardens is 60 with a century and 3 fifties. And he has hit 345 runs against Eng, the most he has hit against any team in T20I.

Its a 4-0 for West Indies against England in World T20s

Both teams have the fire power to chase down even 200 on their day, so it will be a run feast today at kolkata. It's a good batting wicket here at kolkata. Cheers :)
The semi final is here finally. New Zealand will hit the grounds against England at the National Capital, Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Delhi for the first semi final of the ICC World T20 2016 INDIA.
England has had good experience of playing at this ground but don't think that New Zealand are at disadvantage. They have embraced the grounds better than any other team in this world cup. They have been in red hot form, winning 4 on 4 in their group stages. No other team has done it this year.

India is the only Non-Asian team in this world cup top-4 making it the first time ever that only one Asian team has qualified for the semis. Kane Williamson has led this side without Brendon Mccullum in this world cup, and he has done a wonderful job. And we all have seen how they play their game. They are not playing attacking cricket but they have simplified their game plan. And more often than not, Simplified approach is the best approach. They have been reading the Indian conditions far better than others and have won all 4 games they have played in their group stages without using their 2 main fast bowlers, Trent Boult and Tim Southee.

Though they are playing Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner as their front line bowlers, who have taken a total of 17 wickets in 4 games with an economy under 5.4. That is just brilliant. They have been better than the rest of top level bowlers who have played here in these conditions, like R Ashwin and R Jadeja and more..

England has not cruised easily into the Semi's, each match becoming a struggle for them. After losing their opener game against West Indies, the highest successful chase against the Proetas side showed their batting fire-power, then narrowly escaped defeat against the Afghanistan side and then winning the thriller against Sri Lanka at Kotla Stadium, Delhi.

They will be keen to win this one too but New Zealand have been the most adaptable side in the tournament. Hoping for another thriller.
Its day-13 and the last day of Group stages. We have four teams for the Semi-Finals now.
New Zealand
England
West Indies
India

India were able to defeat the aussies in their clash with them at PCA Stadium, Mohali chasing down a target of 161 with 6 wickets. Australia started off to flier with 54-0 in 4 overs but then slowed down with wickets falling on regular intervals, they could only manage 160 with Peter Nevill hitting a Six and a Four of the last 2 balls, but a slow start from India meant that Aussies had a fair chance of beating them until Virat Kohli smashed 19 runs of the James Faulkner's 3rd and 18th over, making the run chase easy for them.

Its the South Africa taking on Sri Lanka today at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, New Delhi. Both of them have been eliminated from the WT20 as England beat SL 2 days back, making sure they qualify for the Semi's and this meant it was the end of road for both SA and SL.

It's a day night clash between them. Both teams will look to finish the tournament on a high. We have seen its a wicket which assist the slow bowlers more and if the batsman gives some time on the wicket, he can later hit some big shots as we saw Joss Buttler hitting those big sixes and taking england to a good total of 172, but they only won the match with 10 runs as the SriLankan Skipper played an important knock under pressure but could not get his team over the line, which meant England winning the game and SA and SL out of the tournament.

It should be a bat first wicket, a good total on the board is always a safe play and rest we will see @ 7:00 IST
SL Capt: Angelo Mathews
Semi Final 1: NZ Vs Eng on 30th March at Kotla Stadium, Delhi
Its Day-12 and in a few hours we will have our final contender for the Semi's. NZ, WI and Eng have already qualified for the Semi's and Its the Australia versus India game which is the decider for the final contender. Its a double header today, first WI takes on Afghanistan at VCA Stadium, Nagpur and later on its the big game, India Vs Australia at PCA Stadium, Mohali.

WI have won 3 on 3 and playing their last game of the tournament and its the last game for Afghanistan as well. Afghanistan has given mini heart attacks to England and SA, so lets see what do they have in store for WI. Its a spin friendly deck, SA was defeated here the last time they played against WI. But who knows what they have in box for WI ? We'll find out in a few minutes now. Shahzad will be the key for Afghanistan team,

WI Capt: Dareen Sammy
Afg Capt: Asghar Stanikzai

Moving on to game 2 of the day here, Its the decider for the fourth and final spot of Top-4
Australia are on a roll. They have already played one game at this venue and previous matches tells us why teams are opting to bat first on this wicket. Chasing gets tough on this ground with conditions favoring bowlers and with big boundaries, it is tough to clear the ropes here. Australia finally had showed their batting firepower in the last game posting 192 against Pakistan. They would not want to make a lot of changes in their squad.
India have their luck going with them, winning that match with 1 run. They would like to maintain their win streak against the aussies side as in 2016, Team India is undefeated against this side.

Australia will rely on finch and warner at the top of the order with Maxwell and Watson coming later on and Steve Smith will be the key for an aussie win today. India will again depend on Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. If they have to win against Australia then everyone will have to contribute. And fielding is the key today,
Adam Zampa has shown a lot of positives in this tournament and james faulkner took a fifer against Pakistan on this venue, so they will be the main breakers for them
Ind Capt: MS Dhoni
Aus Capt: Steve Smith
We move on to the last phase of the WT20. With only 5 matches left in this year's Edition, we already have 2 contenders for the Top-4 Spots. NZ and WI have already qualified for the Semi's and 2 more teams to join them. One of them will be the winner of the qualifier between Australia and India and the other will be between Eng,SL and SA (Depends on the match between Eng Vs SL

Its Day-11 and we have a 2 big games coming your way. First, NZ and Bangladesh face off each other in Kolkata, before England and SL square off in Delhi. Bangladesh are already out of the tournament, so NZ can try a few more options in this match. They will play with no pressure and bangladesh have nothing to lose now, so they will play for pride and honor. England have a very good chance of qualifying. If they beat SL today then SA will be out of the torunament and England will qualify but if they lose today and SA are able to beat SL in their final match then SA will qualify for the Semis.

Kolkata wicket is a bat first wicket in day night games, so without any doubt team will look to bat first on this wicket. The Eden Gardens track is considered as one of the better batting surfaces although spinners tend to come into action as the match goes on. Spinners have enjoyed bowling here a lot in t20s and even in IPL Games.

NZ Capt: Kane Williamson

Bang Capt: Mashrafe Mortaza

Moving on to the second match today, England are aware of the conditions more here, so they will know its a slow surface and spinners will play a big role in this match. Its a bat first wicket, so chasing even 130 will get tough in the later stage. They will have to win today so as to reach semis and SL will have to win both of there matches with a big margin to qualify for the semis.

Eng Capt: Eoin Morgan

SL Capt: Angelo Mathews

It's a do or die situation for both the teams. You lose and you are out !

SA Vs WI, Wt20 (Men)

Its day-10 of the ICC WT20 2016 and we are almost done with the group stages and with teams left with a couple of games to go, we already have one team which are through to the Semi's. Yes, Its the NZ team who are first to qualify for the Semi's.

What a thriller it was last night, my heart almost failed. What did we just witness ? They seemed to be cruising over the line. how did they lose it? It was team India who kept their nerves tight and in the end, won it by 1 run. If you missed the action last night, do watch the highlights and if you don't who cares ! :P

Moving on to day-10 now. Firstly, A very happy Holi to everyone. I will celebrate my Holi writing this blog, but you should go out their and enjoy water-free Holi. Have a safe one my friends.
We have a double header today, Australia taking on Pakistan at PCA Stadium, Mohali and South Africa taking on West Indies at Nagpur. It is a very important game for all for as only 3 spots are left for the Semi's. With NZ already in the Semi's, the competition is getting more tougher.

Australia have played 2 matches and won 1 with a NRR of +0.108 and Pakitan have won 1 out of 3 matches with a NRR of +0.254. So, it's a must win game for Australia as they have a better chance of qualifying than Pak. Its the 2nd game at Mohali today, and its a sunny day at mohali with 27 degree temperature. Its a big ground and should be the same track as we saw in the NZ Vs Pak game. Big boundaries to clear and a good batting deck, teams will look to bat first in this wicket and try to post a good total on the board, and a little cool breeze later on should assist the Seamers. The spinners will have a crucial role in the game, as the boundaries are hard to clear, batsman will have to use all his power to clear the ropes, and even the ball middled are caught inside the ropes.

Aus Capt: Steve Smith
Pak Capt: Shahid Afridi

Head to head, Pak are 3-2 with australia, but in recent form, Australia have been good.

Now moving on to Nagpur from Mohali, SA play WI on a track which assist the spinners, and who cant forget that 42 run defeat of India aganist NZ, so hopefully, both teams will bring on their spinners in tonight and with hard hitters in both the teams and a fight to be on top of the group, this is a must watch match. Both teams have been in form lately and a win for WI will take them through to the Semi's.

SA have won 1 out of their 2 matches, and have scored more than 200 runs in both encounters, with a NRR of +0.816 and WI have won 2 on 2 with a NRR of +0.893. The bowling have been a concern for the SouthAfricans in this Wt20 with their Seamers going for a lot of runs, they nearly escaped their second loss against Afg, as their openers tore the SA bowling line. This is a big concern for them. And JP Duminy is injured, so their camp has some issues for now. WI on the other hand have a upper hand in this game, with their bowling been very good and their batting are also on top.
It should be a good festive Day today !
Ind Vs Bang, Wt20 (Men)

Its day-9 and we have a double header today. NZ are on a roll, winning 3 on 3 in their group stages and one more to go against Bangladesh. Pakistan though are in trouble as they are almost out of the tournament. Things are still not quietly settled in group-2. India will need to win today against Bangladesh to keep their hopes alive in this tournament. Bangladesh have 2 tough contenders left, one with India which they play today at Bengaluru and the last one against the NZ which they play at Eden Gardens, Kolkata

Today, we have England today taking against Afghanistan at Feroz Shah Stadium, Delhi and the other game will be played between India and Bangladesh at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

England's last game is unforgettable for me. How well they played there. Chasing 230. OMG. They should take a lot of confidence from that game and have a fair chance of qualifying. And Afghanistan are playing with no pressure on their mind. I felt unhappy for them in the last game. They are playing so well against SA, but 210 was too much for them in the end.

Bangladesh lost to Australia in their last game in Bengaluru, and India winning over Pakistan at Eden Gardens.
Kotla pitch is a spin friendly ground, it has short boundaries, so a lot of balls will go out of the park, and with both teams playing playing hard in the first 6 overs, it should be a good batting deck. We all remember Chris Gayle scoring those mere of sixes in this ground. It should be a win the toss and bat first wicket.
And we saw Australia chasing down against Bangladesh, so no doubt teams will look to chase here. Bangladesh should have learned from their mistakes against Australia and will look to take advantage and playing more positive cricket showing a good performance against team India today.
Its day-8 and we have a single header today. Its New Zealand taking on Pakistan in a night match at Punjab Cricket Association. NZ have been in good form lately, winning 2 on 2 against two big sides of group-2. They've beaten India in their opening game in Nagpur and Australia in their 2nd game at Dharamshala. They will come very strongly on Pakistan, who have won 1 out of their 2 matches.

Pakistan was earlier defeated by India at Eden Gardens. This was their 11th Consecutive defeat against India in World Cups (Both ODIs and T20s). They will look to change the tides on their sides but NZ are in red hot form and are favourites to win all of their 4 matches in this Super 10.

Yesterday, Australia won over Bangladesh and kept their hopes alive in this world cup. Though Bangladesh narrowed things a little bit but they chased down the target with 3 wickets in hand.

NZ Capt: Kane Williamson
Pak Capt: Shahid Afridi

So, in a total of 14 T20 games that have been played between these 2 sides, NZ have won 6 out of these 14 matches. So Pakistan are holding the lead for now, but it wont take much to change the stats.

Mohali is probably more like New Zealand conditions than perhaps Nagpur and Dharamsala. It is a good wicket for batting and even scores of above 170 or 180 have been chased down here in the IPL.
Not many international matches have been played here but only one game back in 2009, which was Ind Vs SL and team india winning it comfortably.
Teams-
They should win the toss and elect to bat first.
It's a big ground and clearing the ropes wont be easy here. Team batting first will have more advantage, specially for a team like NZ, who plays the game in an attacking way. This wicket will be good for a hard hitter Guptill, who would want to maximize the first 6 overs. And chasing will take some hitting as the ground is really big. Hope for a good match. Cheers :)
Its day 7 of the ICC Wt20, 2016. We have only a single match today. Its the aussies taking on the Bangladesh at Chinnaswamy stadium, Bengaluru. Sorry for missing yesterday's action cause India's win over Pakistan kept me busy for more than a day. It was a long night as well. Well jokes apart, lets continue onto this Group-2 fixture.

Today both these teams from Group-2 will look to open their accounts with a win. Both team are playing after being getting defeated in their very first match. Australia went down against New Zealand, falling short only by 8 runs. And Bangladesh being defeated by Pakistan, who's 200 run target was to hot for Bangladesh.

Australia Capt: Steven Smith
Bangladesh Capt: Mashrafe Mortaza

Australia will rely on their explosive batting line up, and Bangladesh will play to keep their hopes alive in this year's Wt20 edition. A lose for each team will see them packing their bags !
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "helvetica" , "segoe ui" , "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">Short boundaries and high altitude makes the Chinnaswamy track a heaven for batters in the limited-overs formats. Many big scores have been posted and chased down with immense ease. Chasing side have advantage here specially playing a night game. Yesterday WI defeated SL while chasing at the very same venue with an ease. So, team will look to bowl first.
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "helvetica" , "segoe ui" , "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "helvetica" , "segoe ui" , "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">But if the team is able to score around 180 or 190 runs, then it wont be a cake walk for the chasing side. You'll have to play well. Its a field first wicket though.
Yesterday's night was unforgettable. If you missed the action of a very high scoring game of SA Vs Eng, then go to Starsports.com and watch the highlights. I cant believe England chased down a total of 230. The pitch was helping the Batsmans, no doubt but it took some chasing :O

Its day-5 and the most awaited day for the Indian and Pakistani fans. Today, it's the clash of India Vs Pakistan at the Eden gardens stadium, Kolkata. Earlier, it was scheduled at Dharamshala stadium, Himachal Pradesh but now it has been shifted to Kolkata.

We are expecting a high energy clash between these two sides. Pakistan is playing their 2nd match of the WT20 after winning the first one against Bangladesh at the very same venue i.e., Eden Gardens. And india is playing their 2nd match after losing the first one against New Zealand, which was a low scoring game and the target of 127 was too much to take in for India as they all went for just 79 runs

Only 2 T20 matches have been played at this venue. And this is the first time, a Ind Vs Pak T20 game will be played at this ground. Though they have played ODIs here and india has never won a single game against pakistan at this venue. This should be interesting.

Ind Cap: MS Dhoni
Pak Cap: Shahid Afridi

Last match saw pakistan scoring over 200 runs against bangladesh, so this will be a high scoring game. And teams will elect to bat first as it is considered as one of the better batting surfaces although spinners tend to come into action as the match wears on.
So win the toss and elect to bat first.
We move on to day-4 of the super 10 in wt20. Today we have a super friday, with Australia taking on New Zealand at the beautiful Dharamshala stadium, Himachal Pradesh and then South Africa takes on England at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

This is the first game for Australia and for South Africa as well. Both teams will look to open their account with a win. NZ is playing their 2nd match, winning their 1st match against India. England lost to West Indies at the same venue. So they must be knowing the conditions better.

And south africa team has also been in mumbai for quite some time, so both teams know what to expect from the conditions.

SA Capt: Faf du plesis
England Cap: Eoin Morgan

As we saw the last match at wankhede, due factor came on in the later stages. So chasing team will no doubt have a slight advantage as we saw it in the previous game.
So win the toss and elect to field first and try to restrict the team to around 160 or 170.

Sorry for not writing about the Australia Vs New Zealand game. Something came up :D

This is the 4th match of the wt20 2016. It will be played at Eden gardens, Kolkata. 6 teams have started their world cup campaign with one match each. India lost to Newzealand, Bangladesh lost to pakistan who gave them a target of 200 which was too much for them and West Indies winning against England, chasing down a target of 182 with chris gayle showing his class and entertaining the crowd at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

Now moving on to match no. 4
Sri lanka will take on Afghanistan today. This is a group 1 match.
Now as we saw yesterday that the kolkata pitch helped the batsmen alot and chasing was a little tough with conditions slightly helping the seamers.
So no doubt team will look to bat first today. This is a night match, so the breeze will help the seamers a little bit and batting will get easier later on, but you never know what's a good score in a T20 game.

Afg Cap: Asghar Stanikzai
SL Cap: Angelo Mathews

Sri lanka has an upper hand in this game as they are more aware of the conditions and pitches but afghanistan has played well in their qualifiers. Lets hope for a good game from both the teams.
Cheers :)

This is the 2nd match of the group 2 and first match of group 1. Last night team India received a 47 run defeat from new Zealand.
In the first innings, the black caps could only manage a score of 126 under the conditions which favoured the spinners but this low total was a lot to take in for team India.
Let's move on to day 2 now.
Today Pakistan takes on Bangladesh in kolkata and in the later half England takes on West indies at Mumbai.

Not many international t20 matches have been played in Kolkata. The one and only match played in this ground was India vs England, which England won. They successfully chased down the target and won the match by 6 wickets.

The Eden Gardens track is considered as one of the better batting surfaces although spinners tend to come into action as the match wears on. Spinners have enjoyed bowling here in IPL games as well.
With both teams having a good bowling line up, no doubt teams will look to bowl first and will try to restrict the teams to a low score and will later look to chase it down.

Pak Cap: Shahid Afridi
Bang Cap: Mashrafe Mortaza

The wicket at the Wankhede offers help for both the pacers and spinners.
Although the new ball does a bit in limited-overs cricket, the pitch tends to ease out and favour batsmen as the innings progresses. The venue provides great entertainment when it comes to T20 cricket.

Teams will look to chase down target on this ground. This is a good batting surface.

The super 10 will be played from tomorrow, with the host India taking on the Blackcaps (New Zealand) in the very first match of the super 10. India being the home side has an advantage but you can never say this in a T20 game. Any team can win against team in this format and New Zealand has been in hot form. They have those hard hitters who can clear the park from ball one.

As far as records go, India has never won a T20I match against the Blackcaps , they have played 4 matches and new zealand won every single one of them. This time story is a little different as india has been in red hot form in T20s winning 10 out of their last 11 matches, but who will win this match ?

Recent records says that the most teams who have won the toss has elected to bat first.
A good total on board is always a good thing but MSD loves chasing with the likes of Virat kohli and Rohit Sharma on top of the order, their batting goes deep. And with hard hitters like Pandya, Dhoni and yuvraj in the middle order, they have all the fire power they need to chase any target.

New zealand is playing without their talisman Brendon Mcullum who retired recently, but still they have an explosive batting order with Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson at top of the order and Corey anderson, munro and ronchi supporting at the end of the batting order

India Cap: MS Dhoni
NZ Cap: Kane Williamson

New zealand has not much experience playing in india but a few of them play in ipl so they are aware of what to expect from these pitches.

Toss: Win the toss and bat first. As it is a batting friendly pitch and also the due factor might be introduced in the later phase of the game

India have got their combination right and their death bowling has even improved with bumrah finishing it with his yorkers at the end of the innings and Ashish Nehra picking regular wickets at the opening. And with Ashwin and Jadeja their main spearhead at the middle order.

New Zealand has Trent boult and Tim southee to finish the job.
This should be a good contest. Both teams will looking to open their account with a win

Lets see what happens. :)

So the last test was a complete washout. And we are down to the third test which will be played at Nagpur.

Its been a long time since India played a test match here at this venue. So not much Statistics available for this venue but we can work it out.
AB's 100th was washed away but he showed a great intent with his 85 in the first innings.
SA's batting hasn't been up to the mark and India's bowlers have made sure that they take full advantage of that.

Virat is holding up his nerves tight and has maintained pressure on the proteas. The Indian top order also showed some positives in the last game. They will look to maintain that in nagpur as well.

With the last going with the rain, SA will look to start things positively and India will look to maintain momentum with their side.
SA hasn't lost a test series outside their home since 2007. And team India are trying to make sure that this time they do change this streak holded up by SA.

SA will come back strongly in tomorrow's test as they would look to end the 3rd test with a 1-1. And both teams will aim for the series decider at kotla stadium, Delhi.

Toss: Win the toss and bat first. Not much Stats available for this venue. So hope to see a run feast tomorrow, not rain feast.

Venue: Nagpur, India

Doesn't matter if South Africa are on top of the test team ranking. Australians are right on top when it comes to test. They have the combination of 3-Mitchells and an explosive opener who can tear apart any bowling.

And the last test which they played, Warner showed how good he is with the bat and their new captain is looking good as well.

Australia put on a nice win against the New-Zealand by winning the match with over 200 runs. They put upon an overall performance with the bat and with the ball and winning comfortably.

Now moving on to the 2nd test of the series, which will be played in WACA,Perth.

Perth is the fastest ground in the world. So the bowlers need to push themselves up and show them what a bowler can really do.
The perth pitch has a lot to offer for the bowlers. It has both pace and bounce, which makes it real hard for any batting line up hard to survive. It has been a nightmare for batsmen.

Already taking 1-0 lead in the match, Australians are favourite in this one as well.

The last time Australia played on this ground, it was against the english side and Australians winning the match comfortably.
Warner scored a century when he played here and so did smith.

Toss:Win the toss and elect to bat first.

Venue: WACA,Perth on 13th Nov, 2015

So, I missed on the first test analysis after wrapping up the ODI as i was busy with something real important.
Now lets talk cricket for some time now.

So, after winning the T20 and ODI series, SA were the favourites for the test series as well. But the spinners did the trick for the Indians in the first test match which was played in Mohali.

Though even India struggled against the bowling of the south Africans, but the Indian bowling was too hot for the South Africans to handle. They managed to score a few runs in the first innings but jadeja's magical spell proved right on the money for India.

Now we are down to the 2nd test, which will be played in Bengaluru.
So the last time India played a match here, it was back in 2012 and India winning the match comfortably.

India has the plus point in their favour as ashwin is back in the side, And the ball will help the spinners from day-3 in Bengaluru.
The M. Chinnaswamy stadium has always been a pitch which has favoured the batsmen.

Toss: Win the toss and elect to bat first. South Africa would want to bat first as they don't want to be in a situation where they have to chase down a target and ball is spinning around.

India will be comfortable doing both. They have the home advantage. They have the best spinners around can turn the game in their side.

Venue: M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on 14th Nov
So, in the end South Africa grabbing both ODI and T20 series. In fact there first bilateral series win over India in India.

The series was set at 2-2 till SA made some exceptional magic in the field and posting a humongous total against India, which was out of their reach.
It was only India, who could chase down that target but chasing a target over 400, you need to have a proper plan. Just like the Southafrican's had against the Australians who chased down that mammoth total against them back in 2004.

Quinton de kock, faf du plesis and Ab devillers making a century in the 5th ODI. This was only the 2nd time that three players have made century in a single game in the 1st innings.
South Africa hold the record of the 1st time as well, when they played a game against the west indians in wanderers in South Africa where rillie roussue, hashim amla and ab devillers made big centuries against WI.
And AB making the fastest century in 31 balls.

Indian bowlers were sloppy in the fields, firstly allowing them to make runs at such a pace and then they had no clue about how to stop the batsmen. And they even had chances , but as we know cathes win matches but Indian fields men seem to have forgotten that which made sure that SA get to a big total. And AB making sure they reach a big total by hitting 11 sixes.
India seem to have failed the test before it even started

Man of the match: Quinton de kock
Man of the series: AB Devillers
Series: South Africa winning it 3-2

Now do join for the 4 test series with me from 5th November.

And India electing to bat first were able to make a good total on the board.
Though both teams have struggled to chase even a small target, it is for sure that Mumbai odi will do much for bowlers in the start of the innings and helping the batsmen as the innings progress.

SA with 2 injured players will try to get them back in the game as it is a do our die situation for them.
The momentum is back with the Indian team and they will look to take the home advantage. But AB Devillers scored a century in the last game despite being on the loosing side...

And in the recent matches played in Mumbai, the chasing teams haven't a disappointed.
It is rohit sharma's home ground as well.
So it is going to be a cracker of a game as it's a do or die situation for both of them..

India played there last Odi here against England and chasing down a small total with virat and raina making contributions.

Toss: Win the toss and elect to bat first, as SA can do the impossible in the field with there bowling attack.
And They will look to put up a good total on the board.

The fielding team can also get advantage in the first innings as there will be something for the fast bowlers in the beginning of the game.

So, the last ODI ending up on a loosing way for India, and my analysis was 100% accurate.

The team electing to bat first always had a good chance of winning the game as a good total on a slow wicket is always an advantage. Than the team who were chasing down the target. But Rajkot is gone. And now we move to the Chennai stadium.

MA Chidambaram stadium, chepauk, Chennai is one of the most beautiful and hottest grounds in india.

India will surely make a few changes in their team so as to swing the momentum on their side.

South Africa might me playing with the same team as they lead the series 2-1.

So,the last time when Indian team was in chepauk, they were against non other than their biggest rivals in cricket, i.e.. Pakistan. And this time Pakistan dominated. And it was bhuvneshwar kumar's ODI debut as well.

Pakistan elected to field first. And after the top order failed to score, it was MS Dhoni who proved his worth once again as being the captain of the Indian side and also playing on his home ground, he scored a century. and India was able to put up a fighting total against them.

But unfortunately, Pakistan chased it down

They lead the series 1-0 then.

Now for tomorrow's ODI match against India,

the team batting second will have a slight advantage as the due factor will come around and India being a good chasing side, will try to restrict SA to a chase-able total.

Toss: Win the toss and elect to field first. But it wont make much a difference as SA are already leading the series and have played the Indian spinners quite well.

We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Venue: MA Chidambaram stadium, chepauk, chennai

Now, starting with the latest in the cricket world. I have been thinking about writing down my own analysis a day before the match so that its much easier to learn from mistakes that teams have made in there previous matches.

Tomorrow's ODI between india and southafrica is going to be one hell of a match. This is the 3rd ODI in the series. Southafrica have already won the T20 series. And in the ODI, india just levelled the series to 1-1.

3rd ODI is schedulled at Rajkot. In the recent past, england and india played a ODI match at Rajkot stadium but india was on the loosing side.
England choosing to bat first, and making a big score on the board. Now for tomorrow's match, win the toss and elect to bat first.
India have always been a good chasing side. Southafrica will be looking to bat first and will try and defend the total. With a strong bowling side, it will not easy to stop the porteas.
So for india its better they bat first and put on a total for southafrica and invite them to chase it down.

Surely india will take a 2-1 lead in the series if they bat first and put on a score more than 300. Its a good batting deck. Runs will flow in and out.

Last time india played there, it was against england where they tried chasing the total and were a few runs short.

That's my say for tomorrow's game.
Venue: Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot.
India Vs Southafrica.
