Series Analysis: Ind vs SA

So, in the end South Africa grabbing both ODI and T20 series. In fact there first bilateral series win over India in India.

The series was set at 2-2 till SA made some exceptional magic in the field and posting a humongous total against India, which was out of their reach.
It was only India, who could chase down that target but chasing a target over 400, you need to have a proper plan. Just like the Southafrican's had against the Australians who chased down that mammoth total against them back in 2004.

Quinton de kock, faf du plesis and Ab devillers making a century in the 5th ODI. This was only the 2nd time that three players have made century in a single game in the 1st innings.
South Africa hold the record of the 1st time as well, when they played a game against the west indians in wanderers in South Africa where rillie roussue, hashim amla and ab devillers made big centuries against WI.
And AB making the fastest century in 31 balls.

Indian bowlers were sloppy in the fields, firstly allowing them to make runs at such a pace and then they had no clue about how to stop the batsmen. And they even had chances , but as we know cathes win matches but Indian fields men seem to have forgotten that which made sure that SA get to a big total. And AB making sure they reach a big total by hitting 11 sixes.

Analysis 5th ODI, Ind Vs SA

The last odi Going India's way and it was virat kohli who again went on to score another ton, his 23rd in odi cricket. And India electing to bat first were able to make a good total on the board.
Though both teams have struggled to chase even a small target, it is for sure that Mumbai odi will do much for bowlers in the start of the innings and helping the batsmen as the innings progress.

SA with 2 injured players will try to get them back in the game as it is a do our die situation for them.
The momentum is back with the Indian team and they will look to take the home advantage. But AB Devillers scored a century in the last game despite being on the loosing side...

And in the recent matches played in Mumbai, the chasing teams haven't a  disappointed.
It is  rohit sharma's home ground as well.
So it is going to be a cracker of a game as it's a do or die situation for both of them..

India played there last Odi here against England and chasing down a small total with virat and raina making contributions.

Toss: Win the toss and elect to bat first, as SA can do the impossible in the field with there bowling attack.
And They will look to put up a good total on the board.

The fielding team can also get advantage in the first innings as there will be something for the fast bowlers in the beginning of the game.

Analysis: 4th ODI, Ind vs SA

So, the last ODI ending up on a loosing way for India, and my analysis was 100% accurate.

The team electing to bat first always had a good chance of winning the game as a good total on a slow wicket is always an advantage. Than the team who were chasing down the target. But Rajkot is gone. And now we move to the Chennai stadium.

MA Chidambaram stadium, chepauk, Chennai is one of the most beautiful and hottest grounds in india.

India will surely make a few changes in their team so as to swing the momentum on their side.

South Africa might me playing with the same team as they lead the series 2-1.

So,the last time when Indian team was in chepauk, they were against non other than their biggest rivals in cricket, i.e.. Pakistan. And this time Pakistan dominated. And it was bhuvneshwar kumar's ODI debut as well.

Pakistan elected to field first. And after the top order failed to score, it was MS Dhoni who proved his worth once again as being the captain of the Indian side and also playing on his home ground, he scored a century. and India was able to put up a fighting total against them.

But unfortunately, Pakistan chased it down

They lead the series 1-0 then.

Now for tomorrow's ODI match against India,

the team batting second will have a slight advantage as the due factor will come around and India being a good chasing side, will try to restrict SA to a chase-able total.

Toss: Win the toss and elect to field first. But it wont make much a difference as SA are already leading the series and have played the Indian spinners quite well.

We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Analysis:3rd ODI India vs SouthAfrica

Now, starting with the latest in the cricket world. I have been thinking about writing down my own analysis a day before the match so that its much easier to learn from mistakes that teams have made in there previous matches.

Tomorrow's ODI between india and southafrica is going to be one hell of a match. This is the 3rd ODI in the series. Southafrica have already won the T20 series. And in the ODI, india just levelled the series to 1-1.

3rd ODI is schedulled at Rajkot. In the recent past, england and india played a ODI match at Rajkot stadium but india was on the loosing side.
England choosing to bat first, and making a big score on the board. Now for tomorrow's match, win the toss and elect to bat first.
India have always been a good chasing side. Southafrica will be looking to bat first and will try and defend the total. With a strong bowling side, it will not easy to stop the porteas.
So for india its better they bat first and put on a total for southafrica and invite them to chase it down.

Surely india will take a 2-1 lead in the series if they bat first and put on a score more than 300. Its a good batting deck. Runs will flow in and out.

Last time india played there, it was against england where they tried chasing the total and were a few runs short.
